Be sure and check out our new podcast, TV Ate My Dinner. I host it along with Greg Starks and Brooks Robinson. We talk about media issues, but mostly just jabber about movies and TV shows we've seen. I'm hoping this show will be a little more consistent than my other podcasts. Give them a listen and let me know what you think.
At long last, and after many early publishing attempts and revisions, Unlike Heroes: Defenders of the Faith is available for purchase in the Dark Crazy Bookstore. This is the first of three installments chronicling the adventures of Snowdon as he fights to free the world of Xenonia from a vicious band of slavers.
I just received the Greek edition of Universe Pathways magazine. They published three of my stories in the second issue of the English language version, but it's pretty awesome to see your work printed in another language. The only thing I can understand is my name.
Whisper World magazine is back in an exciting new format! Whisper World Issue Three is available in the Dark Crazy Bookstore along with nice new editions of issues One and Two. I was very pleased with the quality of the Comixpress editions, but they're having trouble keeping up with orders and answering e-mails, so until further notice all new printed works will be going through Lulu exclusively.
More Dark Crazy Publications available at new low prices! You can now purchase The Divine Idea and Night People through comixpress.com. More books will soon be available through them, as well as some new stuff, too, including a couple of new comics.
Check out some new podcasts (audio & video) on our podcast site. And we've got tons of videos on our YouTube Channel. If you have a YouTube account, subscribe to the channel and keep up with new videos as soon as they're added! If not, just tune and watch.
The proof's come back from the printers and "Whisper World" # 2 will be available through Comixpress very soon! # 1 will be available there, also, which means both issues will be available at a much cheaper cost to you, the consumer.
We also have internet outlets for video programming, so you can watch Dark Crazy videos on YouTube and MySpace now! And you can always find exclusive content in our official Screening Room.
I'm big in Greece, you know. If you don't believe me, check out the latest issue of Universe Pathways, the Greek Sci-Fi Magazine. If you don't read Greek, you can purchase the English version, which features 3 of my short stories.
And if you like those, you can read more of my stories in the Whisper World collection, available in Hardcover and Paperback.
And the second issue of Whisper World is coming very soon...
For you Snowdon's Questers out there, check out our podcast page for the newly re-mastered Tales From the Inn of the Broken Sword, which incorporates elements of both original series and even some new material, too. Hopefully this will be the first of several podcast specials.
For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, this is a radio serial we made 10 years ago, now available for the first time since it originally aired. Check out some of our other (more current) podcast programs while you're there.
We got new video! And more coming, too! Check out the first (and maybe only?) episode of The Ducksuit Shuffle, my video blog! I absolutely promise that my new short, Whatever, will be close on its heels, too.
And on top of that, we've got new fiction on the Whisper World page and an all new issue of the Whisper World magazine is coming very soon!
We haven't had a lot of new features on the web site in the last month, but that's because I've been working on some new features and products that will hopefully be available very soon. Among them, the DCTV site on MySpace! Check that out and e-mail me if there's anything you'd like to submit to that site or the Dark Crazy Screening Room.
The Summer issue of the Whisper World magazine will also be out very soon, along with some new fiction for the online mag. Maybe even some fresh editorial. Who knows?
New fiction by Tom Hamilton is available on the Whisper World page, and some new poetry by Vicky Pfromm and Joseph V. Milford. Also, I'm very pleased to announce the publication of the very first issue of the Whisper World magazine, which will hopefully be hitting bookstores very soon. Until then you can purchase it exclusively from the Dark Crazy bookstore. So start spending, folks. On that note, let me remind you once again that we need contributors now more than ever. If you have fiction, poetry, or art that you're looking to get out there, contact me.
New installments of The Divine Idea and The Serpent God essay series are available in this month's Whisper World. We also have new poetry by Kelly Moore and Vicky Pfromm, and photography by E Collier. So check that out.
More news to come very soon, but be on the lookout for the first issue of Dark Crazy's Whisper World magazine, which will feature a lot of the art and artists you've come to love here on the Dark Crazy web site.
Check out the Screening Room, version 2.0. Brooks has re-designed it with a new look and new features, including my Socks video, a live performance by Belle's Wake, and the trailer for our upcoming short, The Baldwin Effect.
Also, one of the pop-ups on the free forum tried to infect my computer with a virus, so I'm taking it down permanently. Feedback is still welcome through e-mail and you can keep up with posts on our bulletin board.
Special thanks to our newest poetry contributors, Vicky Pfromm and Kelly Moore. You can view their work in the Poetry section of Whisper World. You should also check out Kelly's very cool artwork, featured on his web site.
Whisper World now features a brand new series of speculative essays on the subject of The Serpent God.
Check out my new movie! Download Socks, my weird little short video about the secret lives of, well, socks...
And, in an effort to keep up some ongoing podcast programming, we offer you The Adventures of the Patriotic Paragon, America's Most Concerned Citizen! Episode Three: Old Glory. Paragon gets an unlikely partner in his fight to stop the diabolical Dr. Dark!
That's right! New episodes of Dark Crazy podcasts are available with more to come!
The Adventures of the Patriotic Paragon, America's Most Concerned Citizen! Episode Two: The Patriotic Paragon is called back into action when Dr. Dark's legacy of evil threatens the American way of life!
This Week in Angst - Episode Two: Over 10 minutes of incoherent babbling on the subject of the WB teen melo-drama, "One Tree Hill".
I'm a Christmas man myself, but whatever your holiday of choice, just remember to be good, be safe, and have fun.
Yes, I know, I am a bad man who tells many lies. Some aspects of the site are updated regularly as promised, but there are some updates still needed. If you're a regular follower of our podcasts, I sincerely apologize that new episodes are so long in coming. This time of year is busy, and the shows have taken longer to produce than expected. Look for new episodes of all our programs sometime after the New Year.
The Soapbox is expanding, and new material is featured regularly there. Whisper World also is up to date, so check out new fiction and poetry there. Rumor has it we'll have some new shorts on the Screening Room soon, too, but I don't want to give in to wild speculation.
It always makes my job easier when other people do my work for me, so if you have anything you'd like to submit, e-mail me.
The Dark Crazy welcomes an all-new contributor to our editorial page, Cate Sheridan. Check out her new column or take a look at her ongoing blog.
You can hear Cooler Than You audio comedy sketches on the Cooler Than You Productions page and on our regular Cooler Than You podcast, but now we have a regular segment on the The Dragon Page's Wingin' It podcast! Check out Cooler Than Productions on the Sound Stage and The Dragon Page.
Sean's first poetry collection is available for purchase on the Dark Crazy bookstore, either in paperback or hardcover.
Check out selections from Tantalus Fruit in Whisper World.
You can also purchase our new hardcover edition of the Whisper World.
Other hardcover editions will be available soon.
Consult the Sound Stage for Brooks' daily picks of all the hottest songs fit for download. And remember: There are legal ways to download songs so suck on that, record execs!
You can always e-mail feedback to gilberto@darkcrazy.com or feedback@darkcrazy.com, but now you can post your own comments on our online forum. You can still check the Feedback Forum page for pre-forum posts and our feedback image gallery, but the online forum gives you a direct voice. Make your feelings heard about the Dark Crazy or anything else you feel like sounding off about.
The new episode of the Dark Crazy show is now available, along with A Kindness of Strangers Chapter Two. Also our new program, a brief but beautiful trifle I like to call "This Week in Angst" is also available for download. Visit the Sound Stage for more information on our ongoing online series.
Here's one promise kept already: The first episode of "The Adventures of the Patriotic Paragon, America's Most Concerned Citizen!" is available for download on libsyn.com. If you're like me, and you're a fan of old-style radio serials, then you should enjoy this superhero story rescued from the vault and restored by the folks at Dark Crazy for your podcasting pleasure.

10-12-05: Empty Promises
Lots of changes coming. The Editorial Page is up to date, and you can expect it to update on a weekly basis from now on.
Whisper World is also getting a makeover, so you can expect to see some new content with mind-blowing features and graphics very soon. Seriously, youll pop right out of your chair. People will be running naked in the street screaming everything I know is a lie! It will change the way the world sees itself forever.
New episodes of our podcast programs are on the way, too. The Dark Crazy show is scaling down to a more downloadable half-hour format, and that should be ready in the next week or so. New Cooler Than You and A Kindness of Strangers episodes are also in the works. Watch out for our 1940s-style serial, The Adventures of the Patriotic Paragon, Americas Most Concerned Citizen!, set to begin this weekend. I'm also doing a new segment called "This week in Angst", which pretty much just bags on the teeny-bopper melodrama shows I watch on the WB. That should run in ten minute episodes, I think, and will be available on www.darkcrazy.libsyn.com very soon.
Special thanks to the folks at the Dreaming Methods site, too, for our first official reciprocal link.
Remember if you have any comments youd like to see on our Feedback forum, send them in. If you have any work youd like to put up, well be happy to consider your submissions. Or if you want to e-mail me directly, thats cool, too.
Thanks for stopping by!

Mile
Zero Films, a new enterprise founded by Sean Gilbert, Jason Wilson and Tommy
Butler is nearing completion on its first digital short, The Baldwin Effect.
Shot in Carrollton, Georgia with Gilbert and Butler in front of the cameras,
Wilson directing and Atlanta actress Nuri Adams working in front of and behind
the cameras, the short is a comedy about people adapting to the monotony of
life in a small town.
Gilbert wrote the script and serves as producer, as well. It has been shot primarily at the Mellow Mushroom in Carrollton.
Keep up with ongoing Mile Zero Film projects and all the latest on Mile Zero creators on The Mile Marker.
If you have work you'd like to submit, please contact us at submissions@darkcrazy.com. There is no fee to submit, and we don't pay anything for submissions, either, but if you're looking for an outlet to promote your work, we'd be happy to consider you as a contributor. Questions about Dark Crazy or what we do? E-mail me directly at gilberto@darkcrazy.com!
Your e-mail should be a cover letter which contains a brief description of yourself and your work as you'd like it presented on the site. For fiction and poetry (text only works), just copy and paste the text into the body of the e-mail beneath your cover letter. For artwork submissions, send image files as attachments. JPEGS are easiest, but we should be able to read just about any image format. Query specifically if you have audio or video you'd like to contribute.
If you already have a web site for your work, we'd be happy to create a link to your site. All we ask is a reciprocal link.
For anyone looking to submit to this site or any other publication, I can't stress enough the importance of first registering your work with the Copyright Office. Those forms and guidelines are available at http://www.copyright.gov/. This is the best way to protect your work from unlawful reproduction and distribution.
